Ruth Spargo is a cellist and a member of the In:fluence Ensemble. Read about her view on working with Mondgewächse.
– I was quite uncertain what to expect, but that is always quite fun! It seemed from the very beginning that there were many possibilities and directions we could take with the performance, perhaps overwhelmingly so! I am not so used to being involved in the creation of the music, more in the performance. It was exciting to meet everyone and I felt very positive after initial workshops in May.
– The whole process of the project was enjoyable and enriching. It felt quite slow to me at first, but I began to realize that this was important for the creative process, for the technology and for us to feel comfortable with performing together. I enjoyed being part of a team of creative people who weren’t necessarily trained musicians.
