Mondgewächse

This is our blog about Mondgewächse, a music piece by Patricia Alessandrini, where traditional instruments meet arts technology.

You can follow the creation of the piece and get first hand information about the composer, the musicians and the new interface that was developed. We collaborated with Gageego! one of the best chamber ensembles in Sweden.
World premiere of Mondgewächse was October 19, 2014 in Gothenburg Concert Hall, Sweden.

It is Share Music Sweden´s third commission piece and during our call for composer together with Gageego!, we received 56 applications from 19 countries all around the world. Patricia Alessandrini was chosen, because of her innovative idea: exploring the transformation of the relationship between the performer and the instrument.
