Dr. Krishna Chandramouli (Male), PhD (Lon), M. Tech, B. E, CEng, is a senior researcher at Queen Mary University of London. Has has more than 20 years of research experience in the field of computer vision technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

He graduated from University of London in 2009 with specialization in Semantic Video Analytics. His expertise on AI technology has been gathered over many years of participation in several international benchmarking activities including contribution to International standards. Dr. Chandramouli has executed several key projects in the domain of virtual media representation, Artificial Reality and big-data analysis.

He has also been a key contributor for EU funded projects including, FP6 NoE K-Space, FP7 NoE 3DLife and H2020 COGNITUS. Currently, he is the scientific coordination of the H2020 project SILVANUS, forestry and wildfire management. He is also a representative of the UK interest in LEAD-ME COST action aimed at improving the accessibility of digital content. He is currently engaged in Horizon Europe SHIFT project.

His on-going work in AI will facilitate establishing cross-cutting priorities in AI and Interactive Technologies within Europe and beyond. Dr. Chandramouli has undertaken scientific consultancy for several UK SME organisations (Vision Semantics Limited, Venaka Media Limited, Ecode Networks, Instronix Limited and CBRNE UK) in the field of software design, development, implementation, and project execution. His technical expertise in the field of software architecture design and product development is completed with programming skills in Python, Java, C/C++ and Go.
