When ShareMusic was established as a knowledge centre, an advisory board was formed to anchor the work scientifically. The academic connection verifies and ensures that the organisation is updated and relevant nationally as well as internationally.
ShareMusic’s advisory board consists of members from reputable higher education institutions around the world. To conduct a methodically expansive work in relation to the academia, the Board has, among other things, established a five-year research strategy for the knowledge centre. The strategy works as a guiding tool to help prioritizing among the research and collaboration requests that arrive. The research strategy currently has two main focus areas: the implementation of a digital knowledge base and a remote performance platform.
