Together with the Centre for European Studies of the Yerevan State University (CES), ShareMusic is arranging the international conference Inclusion through Arts. The conference will be held in Yerevan, Armenia, on 11‒13 October 2023.
The Centre for European Studies of the Yerevan State University (CES) within the frames of Global Campus Caucasus programme in cooperation with ShareMusic & Performing Arts - Swedish knowledge Centre for Artistic Development and Inclusion, Henrik Igityan National Centre for Aesthetics will hold international conference “Inclusion through Art” on October 11-13 in Yerevan, Armenia.
The conference is organised as part of Performing Arts Exchange-2 project funded by Swedish institute, the aim of which is to establish a sustainable cross-sectoral collaboration and to explore and create methods on using arts as a tool to work with human rights.
The Conference will have panel discussions, workshops, keynote speeches with participation of the Right Livelihood Award Laureate. A special session will be devoted to the presentation of a toolkit developed to support the dissemination of inclusive methods through production of a toolkit to support the Armenian schools in teaching children rights through art for both disabled and non- disabled children
The Conference Programme Committee will accept proposals for individual presentations and panels on Inclusion, Arts and Human Rights, Disability. Presentations should not be longer than 15 minutes. Articles and abstracts will be published in Conference proceedings.
Both proposals for individual presentations and panels should be sent by August 20, 2023 to info@ces.am.
Authors will be informed by September 10.
There is no participation fee to the conference, however the participants would need to cover their transportation and accommodation with the logistic support from the CES.
