ShareMusic's artistic director Sophia Alexandersson will be in Armenia this week to participate in the international conference Inclusion through Arts.
The conference is part of the "Performing Arts Exchange-2" project funded by the Swedish Insitute. Sophia will present ShareMusic's work with disability rights through the performance My Convention. She will also participate as a moderator during the panel discussion on the "Children's Rights Education Toolkit".
The aim of the conference is to bring together civil society, policy makers and cultural organisations to discuss the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, inclusion and disability rights and the role of the arts in promoting inclusion for both children and adults.
The conference is organised by Yerevan State University Centre for European Studies in cooperation with ShareMusic & Performing Arts, Henrik Igityan National Centre for Aesthetics, Global Campus Caucasus, Global Campus of Human Rights and Right Livelihood.
